DEI 529t: Problem ($$$ for a FIX)
Hey guys,
I just got my Viper 5900 and two DEI 529t's installed. However, I've encountered a slight problem with the DEI 529t's. The problem is every time I use the auto close button for the windows in the car, the windows roll back down 1/4 the way.
Could anyone give me a possible solution to stop the windows from going back down when using the auto close button?
Thanks for any help!
Also, a thanks to mattieg for a lot help!

Yup one 529T can either roll both windows up OR down or one window up and down. Thats why you need two.
Im glad to help I just hope we can figure this out. I feel like its something stupid that is missing.

i have two 529's too, i just heard form another installer i only needed one...i didn't know who was right, but i know for a fact my stereo shop wouldn't sell me something i didn't need...they don't profit off me, haha
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it probably has something to do with the anti-cut-off-your-arm-with-the-window circuit.
Basically, the 529t is rolling up the window and when it hits the top, the window circuit thinks something is caught in the window and rolls the window back down.
I'm sure a diode somewhere in the circuit could fix this.

^ same here, all i care is that the windows roll up. it actuallt worked for me a few times when i reset the window controls by unplugging them and then holding the switch but would then break again shortly after. thought about doing the roof as well but i like to keep my roof vented when im at work and this wont be possible with a 529t. i am however going to hook up a remote to the switch so i can control it like if i was in the car.
i reset my window controls 2-3 days ago and my one touch up is working fine now. i dont know what causes it to fault but ill let you know how long this 'fix' last
now wheres my money
now wheres my money

But it's good to hear that your windows are working fine.
