Sounds like a white van scam, sorry man. Were they saying "hey we had these left over and our boss told us to get rid of them"??

speaking of those van people selling speaker. i bought some a home threatre system from a guy selling that stuff. i think i paid 3-400 for it. i went to the atm, gave him his money, and put the speaker in my trunk. then a random person comes over and tells me to not buy that stuff, he said he got ripped off from him and advised me not to buy it.

luckily i got my money back with no problems. i don't know what i was thinking of when i bought that system. good thing that stranger warned me so i can get my money back.

dont even get me started on van scams.. i've went to install stuff for customers that bought that crap and then wanted our services to hook it up... blew instantly or didnt work at all.. all i can do is laugh cause my service is paid ahead of time.. so not only do they get busted crap, but there also out the install $.. and our minumin charge is $100... "we got this sweet deal" psh..

oh, and X's 4 on the picts...

i remember like 5 years ago, i was in the car with my mom at a light and these dudes in a van were bothering us. they said "i got these brand new home theatre speakers, but my client doesn't like them, so i need to get rid of them before I get back to work. you want them for free?"

i'm like, no.

i wonder what would have happened if i actually accepted them...they would probably try to pressure me into buying more or mug me or something
