Default Differant options for rollcage?

I'm not really looking for a full roll cage or anything just something to protect us better incase of a rollover, any good sites or recommendations?

I can't tell you where I heared it. but our car already is strong enough it dosn't need a rollcage. i'm sure someone else can verify. but if you feel so inclined go for it. try a custom body shop. or see if there are any racing specalist shops. sounds fun.

yea ive seen pics of many people who have flipped their tC multiple times and walk away with only cuts and scratches. Look around for it you'll see its a very very strong car!

the only thing i'd think you'd need is a roll bar with an integrated harness bar so that you can run racing seats + harnesses properly. autopower makes a bunch of roll bars/cages for the tC

Thanks guys but thats what i'm talking about mainly for running the racing seats properly. Sorry about that but does it block passengers getting in the back?

i just got an email back from safedrives and unfortunately the street/strip roll bar requires you to cut holes into the rear seat panels.

This isnt a biggie for me seeing as i'm all for taking the airsaw to anything, but to most this is going to be bad for them.

yeah, i got a corbeau sponsorship that includes a pair of seats, brackets, sliders, and harnesses of my choice. in order to correctly run the harnesses, you need a harness bar. Seeing as there aren't any standalone harness bars available for hte tC, and i cant find a fabrication shop here in orlando to save my life, i'm gonna get an autopower street/strip roll bar w/ integrated+removeable harness bar.

i would highly recomend that you do not get a roll bar/cage if you plan to drive this as your daily.

god forbid you get into an accident and are not wearing a helmet(Which you never wear on the street) you will smash your head to pieces.

I know for drag racing, once you hit a certain time, you are required to have a roll bar. Not sure what associations though. I'm sure if you get serious about any sort of racing ie drag, autox, or track, you'd be required to get a rollbar.

Neothin, there's a shop here by me who could probably do a custom set up. If you're interested, I'll PM you the contact info, then if it goes further than that, I could probably set up something with the guy who would make the bar to try to make a rough measurement from my tC, so that if you do go and do it, it won't be as long a down time.
