Default display vs no display

im def going alpine but i cant decide if i want to spend the $$ on the display. cause i am thinking about it and i bet i will get tired of it and jsut stop using all the dvd features and stuff. those of you who have had/have multimedia units did you get tired of them after a while. cause im thinking it would just end up being not worth the money and just getting a quality alpine deck and figure something else for the space

it all depends on how much you are willing to spend. If you don't think you will use the features, why get it? I personally, am all about custom everything, so I would do it. But thats just me....

i constantly use the navigation feature on my old ___ AVIC N1 caus I am always takin road trips to see friends, and I never use the DVD. The only reason I would get a screen'd unit is for navigation or if it's a custom vga unit for a carputer.

I always use the navigation, and I used the DVD player to play music videos. I loved it!
