LEAKAGE?-the holes i drilled made an extremely tight fit... so i didnt even think i needed to seal them... i have actually had this mod for about three weeks now and there is absolutely no leakage! i think it is because the coolant never goes in that tank hot enough to melt... not that i know how hot it goes in or anything... but i have had no problem and i dont drive like a grandma...

-thanks again everyone i knew it would be a good idea since i first thought of it...

I actually joined the site after i read this. Please remember that both of those reservoirs are dealing with fluids that are under pressure, im not sure you really want to go drilling into those only to fill the hole with a led and some hot glue.

As for the one in the coolant overflow, it looks good. Did you remember to put a fuse on it? I understand it's not leaking now, but over time the glue will degrade. and fluid+electricity= no good.

You sure that is really under pressure? The lids are never on very tight, and if there was any pressure, I'd assume the lids would just pop off.

Still I'd be worried about drilling a hole in there, You could probably get a similar effect just putting the LED outside the plastic

Looks sweet though!

did you use an LED holder? Like is the LED just in the hole and thats it or what. I dont get that part.

If i dont do this mod, I will atleast get clear hose, that is so bad ___ and original, i would never think of that.

The tank is NOT under pressure.

Only the radiator.
