Do the illumination lights have a fuse?
I had a system installed in my car awhile back and I took my car in to get repaired after an accident and noticed that my illumination lights weren't working..
so I went to plug my amp/sub back in and noticed that wasn't powering either.. so I followed my remote cable and noticed it clamped down to a little white wire under my steering wheel..
I think my remote was tapped into my illumination and because that isn't working, my amp isn't powered..

So the fuse itself is under the center console by the cig lighter? or under the steering wheel in that little fuse box?
I'm at work so I am not able to check..just thought I'd ask before I took an elevator down 6 stories then walk up 6 flights of stairs to my car in a parking garage.

Found it.
The illumination fuse is under your cig lighter in a yellow capsule. Inside the capsule is a 2AMP/250V glass fuse..
Mine was blown.. replaced it and illumination came on along with my amp!!
