Default does any knowhow to remove stock seats?

hey all i'm buying a set of new seats for my tC...and i was wondering if anyone had instructions or pics or something of how to remove the front seats of the tC? it is a 2006 tc w/o side airbags also the seats i am buying already have brackets on them but they are for a 99-05 jetta would i still be able to use those? is it possible to drill holes into the brackets to "make" them fit or could i hook up the seats to the stock brackets? any info would help thanks!!! oh btw the seats are corbeau cr1's

Removing the stock seats is fairly simple. There are 5 bolts if I am not mistaken. Four of them go to the floor while one goes to the side behind the arm rest. Once you unscrew the bolts you will need to push the seat back slowly and disconnect the wiring. Pasenger side has one for the airbag and the driver side is the same. You will need to do something about the driver seat buckle because it will chime and bring up a red light.

You will need to have brakets made for your seats. I purchased a set from Weaon R which allowed me to use universal brackets that came with my seats. However I think you won't be able to use those. There is a company who make quality custom brackets but I forgot there name. I'm sure someone who reads this will be able to help you. they will cost about $250.
