i used scotch tape to get a better grip and they came out easy as *****
although initially i turned the black housing the bulb sits in and it fell down in there, so i spent 10 tedious minutes trying to maneuver it back into place with two tiny screw drivers but i eventually got it. that's when i got the idea for scotch tape.
so my final advice is dont turn the black housing and use scotch tape.
