Default Door handel removal

Hi guys,

I had a questions regarding the door handel. I have a 2006 tc and its starting to show because of age and extreme sunlight we have here year round. The door handels inside have started to fade, not the one to open the door but the long piece in front of the actual door handel.

I know the top part with the silver ring easily snaps of, what i was wondering does the part that its attached too also come of? I wanted to repaint it.

I hope you guys understand without a pic

Thanks in advance

To clarify...after you remove the panel with the silver ring theres a section behind it. It looks like it could be removed but im not sure any info would be great.

That part isn't removable, you could tape things off carefully to paint.
Also the removable part can be replaced for $15 each side from Sparks Toyota 05'-07' and $20 for the 08'-10'
