Default Double Din Options/Suggestions?

Hello All,

I am interested in purchasing an upgraded deck. From what I have read the Avic D3 works well with the steering controls. I really like it however, I dont want to spend so much on it. Can anyone give me a list of similar double din in dash players that compare to the Avic D3 (Features)? I also want models that will work with the stock steering wheel controls. I have searched and I didnt find exactly what I was looking for. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks...

FYI..... I will buy an avic d3 if the price is right. Please let me know if you have one, and what you are asking for. To be honest I am not looking to spend much more than 300.

You're going to have to 'up' your budget to at least $500 if you want something decent. Here's some decks that are around the $300-$500 price range... crutchfield.com. Read the reviews. You might find something to your liking. Also, with some of the units you're going to need the PAC Steering Wheel Control Interface in order to retain your steering wheel functions. GL

300 bucks for a nav/dvd unit is not gonna happen... sorry..even 500 is gonna be hard to find if its not used or stolen... i would say reserve a good 700-800 bucks to get your desired unit...

GL with trying to find something....

Thats true, thanks for the tips guys. I might be able to get the deck from a buddy of mine that works at circuit city. He can get me the deck for 500 out the door with the bluetooth addition. Still a lot more than I wanted to pay, but the best price I can get at the moment.
