basically, I am insterested in having my Alpine CDA-9811 installed but I want to install a 7" motorized single din lcd screen below it. does any company make a double din dash kit for the tC?

I want to use the 7" screen for a similar application as another member here who built a tiny pc under his seat and used microsoft streets for navigation etc. ive also thought about rigging up an XBOX or PS2 under a seat or in the trunk for video games on the go. I could run all the audio through the auxiliary input on my Alpine HU.

 

almost 90 views and nobody knows whether theres a double din mounting kit for the tC?

I thought you only need a kit if you want to convert it to single din since its allready double din? Cant you use the existing mounts? (might need to re-drill some holes)

 

seems like you should just go with a conventional dvd player with flip out screen. that seems impossible what you want. or maybe not if you go to a custom shop
