i wasn't there after paint, but if I remember correctly after bondo the box was 35-40lbs. I could easily be wrong since I lack the ability to estimate weights.

Edit. That's before the amps and subs.

It looks great, I just don't like white cars. That has nothing to do with the installation though. Great job guys.

Doors look damn sweet! Good job! Did you DIY? If so, how hard was/is it? I want to replace my mesh material in the doors and on the arm rest with silver micro suede. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Setup and doors look awesome. White is hot on the tC. But never better than Flint.
Good work, I'd hire you guys. HAHA

Because they don't have to be.

Thanx... Yes we did it ourselves... and it was a huge pain... after F'ing up on my car the first and second time i did it.... the 3rd time was a charm because i know what to do and not to do.....

As for help... don't use microsuede.... since air can travel thru it freely, you are more prone to air pockets and pealing... and the microsuede is very absorbant, any extra adhesive with soak thru the cloth and ruin the look and feel of the front side.

daym, but since you asked for it.. the left sub is higher or the right sub is lower.. shoulda chose an amp that has wire covers or made some... looks like the paint or sanding could be better... looks wavy in the pict.. toward the right side of the left sub... and i woulda mounted the amp on a piece of 1/2" plexi w/ a half cove routerd edge sanded and polished to catch the light from some sexy whtie led's..

i was just gonna say sweet..... but then you asked for it...LOL

WOW. This is the best response I've seen on here in a long time. You didn't go with the flow, and you didn't use a one word response in a negative way. Thank you for that.

This box isn't perfect by anymeans, but alot of what you are seeing is actualy imperfections in something we did to give more shape to the box and with the camera angle. I'm the last to say that it's flawless though, I just wont' point them out. As for using plexi and wire covers, this is really a first draft, so I can assure that it will be different in no time. I'm not a huge fan of plexiglass (only cause it never does what I want it to) and I think the wire covers are probably the direction he'll go when he get's new amps.

As for adding LED's it's something that we're in the process of figuring out. He has white cathodes in his car so It's definate that he'll use white LED's.

Thanks again for the comment.

Usually it sounds better to aim the subs away from the driver. Thats how most subs are designed.
