Hey guys Idk it there's a thread on this yet but I just want to make one for the guys that are annoyed with the srs light and don't want to spend the money on parts. this the most cost effective way to turn off the srs light. Your srs system will not work properly with light on so your taking your chance by not fixing it properly. This is only to stop the srs light from being shown on you cluster

After removing cluster take off clear cover and black trim on the front and rear plastic on the back side of the cluster



Remove needles with a fork
Then remove gauge cover
Cut a small piece of electrical tape big enough to only cover the airbag and stick it to the backside



Reinstall and your done

 

I wouldn't recommend this because this can be used against you if anything ever goes wrong. Tampering with safety devices and alert systems is a bad idea bro. Just letting you know. Fix it right the first time and you should be good.
