Default eD SQ 10 enclosure volume? and any ideas?

Does anybody know the volume of the eD SQ 10 enclosure that mounts beside the spare tire?
I'm looking into the box but would like a woofer with a little more punch (RE Audio SL10-D4 Shallow-Mount). I love how the box mounts under the "floor" of the hatch leaving all the cargo area free. I am currently running an Infinity BassLink 10" that just isnt cutting it anymore, sound-wise and cargo area-wise. I'm would go with the eD SQ package but don't want to be let down if it's only slightly better than the BassLink. I am going to do compenents in the doors, and would like enough bottom to keep up with the new highs. I don't need to shake the teeth in the back of my head but would like a clean loud sound when I rock out to Slipknot and Disturbed type stuff and some boom when I listen to the latest couple of rap songs here and there on the radio.

Any input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I seem to recall the gross internal volume is 0.35'. You can PM mandos (Chris) if you want to be certain.

It's either .3' or .35', not sure... Where are you looking at getting that SL10 from? I saw that and was interested, but only saw it for extremely high prices on eBay (looks like it's at $250 now for one).

If you try this, I'd be very interested in how it sounds. I currently have the eD box with the SQ-10, and while it's ok, I'd be interested in checking out how other subs sound in the box.

^^^ why you want to check out other subs.....? give us your review on it. Cause their site doesn't really list real reviews in my opionion. I don't trust review sites without at least a few negative comments or only positives from every other month. Review please.

Default I have the SQ10 in the box

It works well (for what it is). do NOT expect it to produce head-pounding bass or for it to win sound quality awards. I'm not saying it is bad, but make sure your expectations are not too high.

I have more power than it is rated to handle and so far so good. for me, i'm happy with it and it is worlds better than the factory sub woofer.

Just remember that the factory head unit removes bass as the volume gets turned up so i'd recommend an after market HU unless you are hell-bent (like me) on keeping it a stock look/stealth install

if its only rated at 50W RMS greater than the SQ10, would it be worth the additional funds, cause i was thinking about doing the same thing.
