Problem solved

 

I leave mine plugged in all the time... never had this issue. Doesn't seem like a SG issue to me or at least shouldn't be. Though not sure what would have caused it.

 

yup i dont think its a scangauge issue, the only issue i had so far is that sometimes it turns off by itself

 

the car wasn't acting funny until the next moring I started it up from having the scan guage plugged in all night. the other thing is I have nothing else in the car right now. My car is back to stock everything.

 

You say it's done it twice so far? Have those two times been the only times you've left it plugged in overnight? Has it worked at all after being plugged in overnight?

 

actually I had it over night and it started fine. went to work at one location for 4 hours and came out and it acted funny. then went to another location for 6 hours and it acted funny again. So one overnight of about 10 hours it was plugged in and then it started right up normally

I wonder if I got a faulty scan guage. the scan guage is the only thing that I can think of that would make the ECU reset since it's plugged into the port that reads the ECU

 

Ya, I can't imagine it doing it, but it is connected there. Unless you somehow have a bad ground under the hood or something?

You could talk to the SG people and see what they say.

 

My trouble shooting skills were pretty quick to blame the new scan guage since I haven't touched anything else in the car in the pass couple weeks when it returned to stock

I pm'd the seller on here about it. I just wanted to see if I wasn't the only lucky person on here who is having problems

To be honest, I hope I get this straightened out since the scan guage is awesome
