Default Electrical/Auto Window Issue

OK... I have recently been having some issues with my driver side switch to my pass side window... It rolls up and down just fine, just not automatically... i have to hold it. the auto function works on my driver side, and on the passenger side using its own switch... Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? I have tried resetting the windows already like you have to do when the battery is out... and no luck, it works like 1/100 times correctly. ANNOYING>>> Please help!

have you try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery again to see if it'll let you reset the windows?

if you are still under warranty, why stress it and try to fix it yourself. just bring it in and have somebody else do it. because if you fix it yourself you could probably make the situation worse.

ok, master switch was bad... getting replaced under warranty tuesday. but now i gotta redo my leds in the door... they said its possible that its not the switch thats causing it though... he said the alarm wiring was giving him weird readings on the volt meter too, so well see tuesday when i get it back.

disconnect/reconnect the battery terminal (wait a couple minutes before reconnecting). get back in, from the driver side, press and hold down the driver side window button. after the driver side window is fully down, continue to hold down the button for another 3-5seconds. then make the window go up, and again after it is fully up, continue to hold the button up for another 3-5 seconds. then go over to the passenger side of the car, and from the passenger window switch, do the same thing. afterwards you should be able to auto up/down both windows from the driver side. fyi, do the same for the sunroof as well to re-program the "one-touch" function of the roof.

i did that... twice... haha. driver side works fine, and pass side switch is fine. but the master switch wont auto up/down the pass side window... toyota tested it and got a bad reading on the master switch so they are replacing it... well see if its fixed on tuesday.

yes this is a normal issue, every time the battery is disconnected your resetting the ecu and it takes a day or two to get back to normal. It has happened to me multiple times, just wait it out, it always goes back.
