Extending shift boot for aftermarket knob

Default Extending shift boot for aftermarket ****

i order the NRG shift **** and installed it today and there is probably about a 4 inch gap from my boot to my ****. wondering what the easiest way is to fix this, as im thinking i need a new shift boot but not really sure where to look or do i need to get a custom one made

no body knows anywhere i can get a extended shift boot. i found one company that custom makes them but they are pricey

You can buy a short shifter to fix your problem. Rather than getting an extended shift boot. Or http://www.redlinegoods.com/ sells one that is 1.8" longer or you can have them custom make one longer. But honestly it looks alot better with a short shifter. The stock shifter is way tooo tall. You would be happy with a short shifter also it makes it alot easier to shift gears.

well i was thinking of doing that to just getting a short shifter..ill ask whats a good short shifter out there but ima seach cuz im sure its been asked

i dont remember exactly, just look at what they come with. the more you spend the more you get.

1 is like just the shift lever, the next step has the cage as well, and then theres one that includes a shift ****. something like that
