True or false.. do i need a wideband air and fuel ratio gauge or can i just get the basic one for my tc?
ive been hearing that you dont need the wideband that the basic one will do fine and some say that the basic one doesnt work and u need the wideband.

1. just another project to do and want something to look at lol. dont have any mods right now but i am going to turbo up the ride. i just figure i can get ahead of the game by getting some gauges out of the way. the set up i was going to with was oil temp, volts, a/f gauge. thats y i asked the question i did.
2. yes im in IL, burbs, u?

nice nice.. i'm in Arlington hts.. see the thing is, glowshift has a deal right now starting at 150 u get a triple pod and 3 gauges of ur picking.. and i am going boost but not right now..i figure get the normal a/f till i get boost then get the wideband.. u know
FYI Glowshift pillar pods fit like CRAP.
I am boosted. And I'm using the AutoMeter 3 gauge a-pillar pod. Fitment is PERFECT and it was not expensive at all.
I am running these gauges:
AEM UEGO AFR
Autometer C2 Boost/vac gauge
Autometer C2 EGT gauge

wideband is probably the only way.
You can not hook up a narrowband AFR gauge to the tC. The stock 02 sensor reads between 0 and 3 volts, and the narrowband gauge only reads up to 1V.
Wideband with the sensor should read up to 5V.
