lol, did you try the search button? I found it in less than 3 min using that red button on the top of this page... it works wonders sometimes when you're trying to find information.

if that button doesn't help then go here and go half way down the page:

Default dvd player

i can vouch for stnc, he has a real clean set up, i bought the avic f90bt, all motivation came from stnc, the mute wire hack works, i just bought the avic f series comes in satuday, road trip time with the new navi, all i can say about the custom holes in the factory mounting kit, well it works bc everyone uses it, i dont personally put my stereo door down, it broke a long time ago, so ill just leave it, as for the mute wire hack ill be doing the same thing, if it works, f n a!

Man I don't think you need to go to a shop. I'm 17 and using electrical tape, a soldering iron, and the wireing harness from sonicelectronix as well as the dash kit. I don't really know much about car audio besides some about subs and amps and all that, and it took me maybe 3 hours, from start to finish. Didn't really know what to connect at first(I blame the coors) and then it all made sense. The wireing once you know how to do it takes like 30 minutes tops. Then mount the mic and gps antenna and your good. Also do the mute bypass instead of running it to your parking brake. Much easier.
