Hey guys, have the factory 08 sub in the floor of my "hatch" area near my spare. Any boost **** on it, I heard a rumor that there was a way to pull that cover off and turn up the bass right there. Another thing, what size sub it is? A six or an 8? Has any one replaced it with a better one? Thanks guys

 

6" incher is the only fact i can tell you. dunno bout **** or replacementability

its a 6 inch sub, rated at 35W

there is no way to adjust the bass except from the headunit. there is no bass control/boost ****.

 

Any one change it for a better one?

 

Not sure, but i think BlackMetal changed out his head unit, or you can completely take that sub out because i've heard it, and it's not loud at all. Kinda rattles

If you have an equalizer, Man that little six is loud! Maybe i'll try to figure out how to make a video about it today, and if you can tell i'll post it ;)

i have an rs3 and i have the same setup. (undercargo 6")
my dealer told me the only way you can control it is thru the HU. which sucks i know but my friend replaced his with a kicker. sounds great.
