Default Factory LED Fix

I have the factory installed LED kit and the ones for my cup holders cracked (well the housing did). I think they screwed the install up but I didn't notice until after I was over the milage and my LED would pop out when I pulled up my e-brake. My question is...does anyone know who produces the kit so I can buy the section I need?

If the problem is just with the led pulling out due to the ebrake then all you have to do is reroute the wire. It is extremely simple, you just pull off the cover over the shifter, then the piece that has the cup holders. From there just move the wires away from the ebrake.

As for who makes the kit, I have no clue, but you can just install some new led's in there with almost no work. You can get prewired led's from Oznium and just crimp them on to the old wires.

and this is why a dealership would never be allowed to do this kind of work on my car. I guarantee that most owners know much more about their cars than some new techs at the dealership.

But really, it is simple. This car is like a lego model. Just tug and it comes right off. Zip tie the wire down if you have enough slack and you should be good to do.
