I have a 06 Scion tC that only came with an auxiliary port in the center console. I changed my head unit to a Scion Navigation System (Alpine) and it recognizes when I plug in an aux cable but tells me to check connection. I added the ipod socket and the cable that goes from around the shifter to the center console and the iPod functions fine just not the auxiliary port. I do have XM radio installed. Need ideas please
