false floor reinforcement? help?
Ok this isn't a sound thread its quite the opposite. I transport a lot of heavy ____ in my car and that little false flloor scion provides is horribly bent now. Anyone know where I can buy a beefed up version ? Or know how to make a beefed up one? Plz help as this things bout to implode.
yeah... ideally... i would get some plywood or birch plywood and cut out a floor template with the scion stock floor... then i would get some aerosol spray on bed liner and cover the pieces in bed liner.. making them durable strong and able to take the abuse...
Home Depot, 2' x 4' piece of 1/2" plywood for ~$7. As already stated, use the stock piece to trace on the wood, cut it out, then cover in black automotive carpet (~$5 for a piece that size) attached with spray-on contact cement (~$7 @ HD). Simple, cheap and works very well.
