i will talk to mike to make sure when these will be available, and he only plans i think on making only 15 sets.. so there limited editions... also there wouldn't be any real reason to make a full cf dash since there isn't any practical weight savings and how many people will be willing to pay around $1000 or so for a full cf dash ? when wrapping it is so much cheaper.

 

looks good! do you have the carbon on the door flow all the way to the back as well? Because that what im geting and it'll look sweet! your car looks sweet with it! i do agree the dash does like really wavey IMO but still looks good! how much didyour hood cost? nice car man! ~Irwin

 

yeah i know dude. this semester is almost coming to an end. I hate finals! I'm always in my sheell when everything starts to get stressful. But how you doing? Jays dash looks awesome. I'll do it only if I can still have my passenger airbag functioning. Got a few other ideas. But i just got a crazy shipment and i can't wait to install them this weekend and take some pics. Know anyone selling a cf lipkit or atleast pieces? lol

It wouldn't be practical in my daily driver though - I'm already paranoid about parking my car and having ppl hit it when they open their doors!

Just curious but what happens to the passenger airbag? If it goes off will the whole dash come off and cause more damage or will it break through the carbon fiber? If it doesn't it seems dangerous. Either the whole dahs will come off and hit someone in the face or damage the inside of the firewall area. Anybody else see this or am I missing something?

 

yeah i'm scared enough about getting jacked.. is there any reports of tc's getting jacked? i got to step up the security system on the tc.. doubt the lojack will do enough.

currently since its wrapped all the way around i don't have the passenger air bag plugged in.. and avoid driving someone around in the passenger seat... so as of now i'm looking for a stock dash and would primarly use this for show.. but since this isn't my daily driver i'm in no rush....

 

honestly.. covering up the airbag wouldnt bother me, its not like the tC airbags actually come out haha..

i hit a wall going about 70 and they didnt come out, so i could care less for htem, just buckle up.

and any idea what hte lip kit will look like? and will it really come out in a couple of months? or will it be like bbist?

i would be very interested in a lip kit.. i would opt for the fg version

 

firmware is developing the lip kit in the next month or so, then they will come up with about 2 or 3 designs that people will vote on, then that one will be the one to go in production.
