Buy THIS and THIS.

Do the HU first because you'll need some $$$ for an Amp Wiring Kit later.

if i am thinking right, you need to buy a line output converter(LOC) runs from 20-50 bucks. it converts the two rear speaker wires or sub output to rcas. its the only way to keep your stock hu, im not sure if the 08 has rcas, but if not that is what you definetley need, unless your amp has the speaker inputs on it, then you would have to tap into the rear left and right speakers to get a signal to the amp. RCA's are the best way to go.

Hello, let start first by saying the stock setup is decent for a factory system. The head unit is made by pioneer (good quality) and I believe it has direct ipod connection and rca outputs. It also comes with a stealth subwoofer which should be decent.
If you only have $300 towards adding bass, your best option is a powered subwoofer (infinity basslink). But it would probably sound the same and it won't be stealth. In other words, $300 is not enough for an actual upgrade. Either save up or put it towards performance like a trd rear sway bar or exhaust.
