Fixing cig burn in the headliner???
Someone burnt mine by the passengers window with a cig. ...coulda been me (drunk in the passenger's seat, not driving), can't say for sure tho.
anyways, if anyone knows how i could possibly fix it, please let me know. Its not terrible, no hole or anything. jus black and singed a bit.
tia.
[edit] *to avoidany more confusion* It was on the PASSENGER's SIDE. I might have burnt it new years eve after I had a few beers, my wife was the designated driver that night.
lol. ...I'm 30 and married I had a drink or two so she drove. Its not like I was out sloshed and driving from party to party by myself. [/edit]

sweet. I use the f word with out thinking and that makes me undeserving of your sympathy. !?!
anyway, I'm not looking for, nor am I in need of sympathy ... I'm looking for a solution.

Rewrapping? You mean like in a totally new fabric? I thought about painting the whole thing as close to the original color as possible.
In fact I do, which is why I edited my first post.
I appologize for comming across as if I was attacking you in my second, no harm was intended.

shipping would be nuts. i would vote for the re-wrap. the fabric can be had for very little. you'd use 3m spray adhesive, and spread the fabric on.
in the future, if you're so drunk that you can't remember if you burned your headliner or not, you probably shouldn't be in your car.

its fuzz attached to the same color plastic.
If I could get the black out I'd be happy. the black is mostly ash and what ever is chared I could prolly cover with a thin paint. I'm just not sure if there's a better way.

and ditto, drunken anyone/anything should not be in our cars. for the car's sake. my babys staying at home for nights out now...let other people mess up their cars wiith belligerance and d.c. roads.
but on a side note i've been seeing A LOT of wrecked tCs at shops lately so i'm sure you can take ur pick of used parts. imo its b/c of stock tires, winter weather, and novice drivers, so have at it before the roads dry up!
