The OEM ones look just fine IMO, and the bulbs are the same as the low beam. I'd probably drop some silverstars in the fogs to match my headlights if I had them. Maybe some day.

the oem fogs use the 9006 low beam. and you can get a yellow bulb, like the one at lumincs if you want them yellow: http://www.luminicsbulbs.com/jdm_yellow.php

notsure what bulb size... i'm sure you could search for that on this site...it has to have been posted. The output is pretty decent....I plan on putting in high output bulbs in it ...possibly converting it HID.not sure yet.

Advantages of factory foglights:
very clean install, so no customization necessary 9after market kits prolly won't look as nice); you can now buy replacement a lense(s) through scion (some aftermarkets don't sell seperate lenses if you break one); decent light output that compliments headlights (light out put is directly below the factory headlights, so you get *very* good patterns).

Disadvantages: not as much light output as aftermarket kits; much more expensive than A/M kits; the factory switch sucks...no illumination when in on position (easily fixed with another switch, but still irks me).

Hope this helps! if you want pix... i'll try and take some of my factory setup this weekend.

There's a little cutting behind the light but I've heard it isn't hard. As soon as I get cash for fogs, I'm doing these.

you have to take apart the housing if you want them to project properly......a lot of people are ignoring this.....

how does the foglite install affect the airflow to the brakes? I thought about the IS300 install, but I didn't knwo if doing that negatively impacted the venting to the front discs...and I wasn't about to do anything that would impact it.

PIAA 1451 dichroic.. They put out a good amount of yellow light. I love the way they work and I love they way they look. Also pretty easy to install.

More pics at my website here. -- I'll be taking better pics soon.. people have been asking for a close-up of one, and I want some cleaner night shots so you can really see how they look at night.

Airflow? I didn't think they were functional. Besides judging by the pics, it would probably increase airflow to the brakes since the IS300's don't fill up the hole completely.
