Front speaker problem.
Merry Christmas everyone, hope everyone is enjoying being with your family and loved ones. But I need somebody to help me with a dilemma I'm having.
I just recently had my speakers installed, (memphis audio mclass component speakers), and they work great. The other night, I was listening to music and my left speaker just started to go crazy and started to get all staticy, it wouldn't go away (even turning down the music.) Last night, I was on my way home from work and I notice a difference in the sound. I tweaked with the balance and my left speaker sounded a lot different than my right speaker. The speaker doesn't sound blown, because it doesn't shake or vibrate, but the quality of it sounds poor. It sounds like the treble of the speaker is all the way down and the speakers don't quite hit as hard.
I checked all my amp wirings, they're good. I'm afraid of trying to pop open my side panel because I know I'll damage it somehow and I don't want to do that. Could my speaker be damaged or could it be a faulty speaker? I'm kind of at a loss.

I know that, but I have trouble opening the little thing by the door handle to get to the screw (without out scratching it or screwing it up) and then taking of the handle to get to the other screws.
