So i'm doing a blue gauge conversion. My question is should I leave the needles orange, or should I also change them to blue. I've seen both, and they both look awesome. On one hand i like the contrast of orange on blue, yet at the same time i like the all blue look. Opinions please!

i second the Blue and Orange. but i think Red Needles against blue guages will be hot too ;D

Mine are red.. I like the contrast. But, I have to admit I was pleasantly suprised at the blue on blue the first time I set one up that way for someone. I used neon blue paint and blue leds:

 

I know this isnt one of your choices but mine are blue with white (and a tad tint of red) needles, and I love it.

Ok well ideally I'd have white needles and blue gauges, but that's too hard to do because I have to rewire everything. So instead i'd rather just do blue on blue or orange on blue. I'm leaning towards blue on blue, but I still haven't decided. I want to make the decision now because i don't want to have to keep removing and putting back the needles and gauges.

 

How about white gauges and blue needles..? Just did it on a customers, turned out SICK.. Also did blue lcd screens for a total blue and white theme.

 

Here is what I did for one customer, blue on blue... Turned out killer.... Sorry for the crappy over exposed lit up shot, good camera was left in the rain and just got a new one... The blue needle / white led setup I forgot to snap a pic of before shipping... WAY cool. Looks just like below in the daytime but at night the needles are sky blue.

 

where do you get the custom needles?

 

I change them colors... You cannot just buy them to my knowledge. It is common practice for us led swapper guys.

BINGO! That is exactly how his turned out but with blue lcd screens... Very HOT man. Good taste! His hvac is the same with white buttons but blue lcd...

Ah man, it looks sooo clean. I have red needles in mine with white gauges and buttons / blue lcd's... I love it. Not a thread jack! Just more ideas haha!
