Default Glove Compartment Keyhole Plug

Was wondering if anyone has or makes plugs for our glove box. I know I saw a group buy a while ago for the driver door keyhole and was curious about the glove box. Mainly because mines making an annoying ticking noise .

Are you sure the keyhole itself is making the noise and not your stuff inside the glove box? That's kinda weird if the keyhole itself makes noise.

It's the keyhole...I've got an empty glove box, and the noise stops when the glovebox is open, or when I hold my finger on the metal part . It's just that it's a little loose and moves back and forth going over bumps.

I have yet to see anybody selling a plug for that keyhole. Maybe try the keyhole plugs from the group buy. Get the color black of course.

Aren't the driver door keyhole plugs supposed to go flush with the door handle? That wouldn't work well for the glovebox keyhole since that keyhole is almost flush with the handle.

On a side note, I've been thinking about either covering or perhaps painting the glovebox keyhole. It's a little silver circle surrounded by all that black dash trim, so it clashes a bit. Perhaps some flat black paint would work.

Mine is doing the same the same thing..

The lock itself is rattling. Try locking the glovebox that solved mine.

Yea, I just got my entire sunroof (all 3 pieces) replaced because of the snapping noise problem .
