Default Glovebox Makeover w/pics

Well I bought some suede last weekend to wrap my A-pillars. I had some left over so I decided to put it to use in my glove box. I made a base for my PS2 (I used the lid of an old Adidas shoe box). I put some foam under the shoe box lid and then wrapped it in suede. Here are the pics feedback is welcome, good or bad.

In this first pic you can see there is a gap between the base and the PS2 on the left hand side. I will fix that tomorrow.

Without the flash you can see the lighting that I added to the glovebox. ScionERA is my car club BTW.

Thanks man. The seats are in, the a-pillars are wrapped and the glove box is done. It's getting there... slowly!

I drilled a hole in the back of the glove box for the wires. You can't even notice it because it is covered by the ps2 base (aka adidas shoe box lid lol)

I put the power inverter behind the center console. There is tons of room back there. I wanted it in the glove box for show purposes but I don't see in reason why you couldn't put it under the seat.

I want it under the seat for show reasons too. Give it a stealth appearance. Can u take a photo of how u did ur power inverter?

I could, but that would involve taking the center console apart! What actually do you want to see, I can take some pics tomorrow.

oh i thought u meant u put it behind the outer part. I just know I wanna run my from my center console and am trying to get some ideas. If it wouldn't be too much hassle I would like to see how u have ur's run. but no problem if u don't feel like taking it all apart.

hey elijah, you could just put it in your arm rest thingy then just run the power to where ever you need it. thats what i did, and now i have a power outlet in my glove box. i ran it through the shifter area, up the centerconsole and to the box.

Yeah I was thinking of either running the inverter actually in my arm rest (center console), or putting it in the glovebox with the actual PS2 also.

Did u guys have to drill any holes of some sort? Any pics of ur set ups would be good. Thanks in advance.

What Lights did you use for you glove box. Are they from the optional light kit or do you have to get them some where else?

I got the lights from oznium. I put a 12 inch cathode in the glove box. I will try to get a few more pics of the interior, I have just been busy lately.

Wow, looks really good bro! The cold cathode really sets it off well in my opinion.
