hey guys i have a problem with my glovebox's light, it's not working anymore, and i cant find where the bulb light is located, it worked in the first couple days then it turned off aand never come back on !!

my glove box light hasnt worked since the dealer even showed me the car... just kidding, if there is one that would be awesome.

yeah i miss having lights in gloveboxes!! I had an older car that had a glovebox light AND a light under the hood!

 

^^Yea I do miss the light under the hood, dont know why they stopped putting those in

 

^^ they saved money not having those lights in the car! if they could get rid of the coolant gauge they would.. oh wait, some models don't even have that! cheap!

so simple yet so effective and they have to remove them lol.

someone should start making these independently, could probably make some money off of it if you can get enough people to buy... maybe somehow make it like a plug-and-play type deal with the wires behind the glovebox possibly?...

LOL!! I have blue lights in mine! Dont know what yal are talking about! LOL Oh wait i installed them.

 

Does not come stock with car, so you'll have to install them..
Two ways..
1. Just tap into constand power wire to stay on all the time(easy install)
2. Tap into constant power wire, install switch to make them turn on when it's open...(moderate install)

 

someone should make a diy for this idk which switch to get

 

If I can source a pressure switch that will fit there nicely, I'll post it here..

also that people just call of road side assistance if their car breaks down.

from what i see a lot of the older cars have it and it suxs. most of them dont work since the radiator fan a blows crap on it over time. moisture/water gets in. if it was a LED the temp from the engine will dim that after the first few miles.

anyways OP. it would be nice to have a light in the glove box though.

 

why don't people just keep a flashlight if they really need light somewhere? certainly more versatile...

 

I never even go in my glovebox, all that is in there are my stock headlight bulbs and owners manual.
