Default Got my new seats innn.... w000t Megans r comfy!

Well - I picked up some seats for the tC from Megan Racing and they fit PERFECT I just had to figure out how to put them in.

I found out the Weapon-R Scion tC seat brackets work but they are a close fit and I do not have smooth slide action but for $85 they got the job done:

Here are some harness install pics as well as the seats!

*taps that hole out (convienient location might I add for it) with a 7/16th 20NC*

Fiiitttss!

ENJOY! I do! Talk about some comfy seats - The support is great a race seat that keeps ya in place as well as does road trips ;)

what about the seat sensor does it still tell you that you and the passager need to buckle up or did you disconnect it ?

anyone know of seats that will slide and anyway to keep using the rear seats with harnesses? Basically i was wondering if you can get racing seats and harnesses and keep using the rear seats.

I disconnected it all - which has been nice except the airbag light I need to take care of.

I can still have passengers in the rear with the harnesses however I have the stock belts to wear and can quickly take out the harnesses because they have quick clips and eye bolts.

can you show me how you have the harnesses set up? Do you just pull the seats all the way forward and tilt the seat forward to let people in the back? I really want to do this but i dont want to loose the rear seats so im just looking for an easy way to do this. I dont know how you have yours, do you have it set up in a way that you can on the fly decide to use the back seat or do u need tools to take out the harnesses and stuff?

Sweet seats, only thing is your harness connections are way low!!!!
In an impact they put a lot of down force on your shoulders if they are mounted like that and can cause a lot of spinal damage!!
I love the seats though!!!
Dont mean to rain on your parade im just worried for another SL member

I just use em for autox mainly to hold me down a bit - they clip right out so I can use stock belts.

For the light, could you just rip off the seat sensor and plug it into the wire and then stash it somewhere?

I don't know I can try - the airbag light is kind of annoying I just haven't had time to mess with it yet.

where you mounted the eye-bolt for the harness to mount to the floor, did you tap into the hole or did it just screw in?????

I hit it with the drill quick and tapped it with a 7/16th 20NC I picked up at the hardware store.

Unless you go find a y strap and run it back you need to mount it fairly close. That is the best and highest point I could get without taking out the seat.
