probably grease...

pull back the seal on the top of the door (bottom of window) and run a q-tip along it.
also take off your door panel so you can check out the inside of the door.

is it on the inside or outside?

i just told you what to do.
roll the window all the way up.
clean the grease off.
then pull back the seal where the window meets the door.
roll the window down. (while still pulling the seal back)
roll the window back up. (while still pulling the seal back)

if there is no longer grease streaks on the window chances are theres something on the seal.

so if theres no streak, you know theres something on the seal, like i said before. take a q-tip and run it between the seal and the window to find the dirty spot(s). then clean those areas thoroughly.

if there is still a streak, (idk why there would be, thats really the only area the window actually comes in contact with) take off your door panel and get a better look to see what the culprit might be.

yep and if that doesnt work........open door, look at the end of the closing handle there is a spot to put screwdriver.pop the cover to the handle off, under it is a screw.
Next under the little flap in the door open handle is another screw.....
Seems if I remember the mirror sail piece at the window level by the A pillar need taken off,and then you cangive panel a pull and it will come off, then there are the wires for the switches, unplug and take off panel.
Cut away the plastic moisture barrier and look around inside door, they may have over greased the motor or something for the window......hope that helps, but most likely it is on the window seal.
