Default Guage Cluster Info

Hey everyone, new to SL. I took the aforementioned advice and checked the search function before asking my questions. #1. Does a used gauge cluster from a 2005-2006 Scion TC fit/function the same as a 2007? #2. When/If the cluster is swapped, does it retain the mileage from the previous vehicle or is that information stored elsewhere? I'm hoping that the harnesses/connectors from 2005 will fit my 2007 and the mileage will show true to the mileage on MY car...not the previous one. Thanks in advance!

Man that sucks. So easy to commit mileage fraud . Either way, does it have the same connection harness? Reason I'm asking is because I want an L.E.D. swap done and faceplate change and don't want to lose/modify my factory gauges at any point in time. The center stack just has a removable assembly on the back that needs modification for the L.E.D. swap right?

Correct on the center HVAC. Also not so easy to commit fraud as the milage is also stored on the ECU, they are a matched pair

since the mileage is also stored in the ECU... is it possible to get my mileage (actual) onto a new gauge cluster?

I can transfer your old miles from the older gauge cluster on to your new gauge cluster...

I can send you a loaner while I work on it (1-day turn around)
Sorry, there is no DIY for it...
