Default Head Unit Install

OK, so after many days of trying to get my Pioneer head unit installed and many days of searching for a DIY I have finally given up.........

Here is my problem: I have the unit installed with the DIY without a Scion dash kit and it works fine, but for some reason I do not like the gap on all the sides.......

I purchase a Scion dash kit the other day and can't get it to work right. I drilled new holes on the bracket and still it will not work. So, right now I have the radio door taken off and it works..........

There has to be some one that has a radio installed and looks flush........

fairladyz541...Are you using the plastic bracket that came with aftermarket mounting kit or the one that was on the stock head unit?

From what I have noticed, each of the aftermarket head units have a little different fit.

I put in a Pioneer one as well and had a few issues at first, but was able to straighten them out.

You may need to order one through Crutchfield or something, or go to an audio shop and see what they have. I don't really know how else to help, besides that. Good luck!
