You don't point your Wiimotes at the monitors. You point them at the remote sensor bar you place at the top or bottom of your TV. So yeah, I'm sure it'd work on headrest monitors. You would just have to place the sensor bar somewhere reasonable.

 

It's really close up though. Maybe.... we'll see

You'd have to put the sensor bar under one, since it's relative to the tv and the wii doesn't split the input between two different LCDs (and it would look weird).

It's compatible, but are humans compatible to that setup? If you had two players, the person without the sensor bar underneath their monitor would have to play to one while watching the other. Wiisports isn't going to be an issue since that's not terribly accurate, but games like Trauma Center would be tougher, I think.

i would put the sensor on top of the rear view mirror, since it's an open area and is in the center of the car.

 

its simple. Wire up some Infrared LEDS on the top corners of your headrest monitors. The Wiimote doesnt send signals to the bar or anything, all it does is pick up infrared signals. Thats why if you were to break your sensor bar, you can use candles as a sensor bar. SO yea, just solder some infrared LEDs on each top corner of the LCD screen, and it will work perfectly.

Right, except it still has to be the width of the sensor bar, correct? And it still doesn't really delve into the question of whether it'd work on two tvs...

But yes, the wii operates on bluetooth. The sensor bar (or what it is emitting) helps it triangulate the coordinates.

if you go to that video link, and go to the videos that are similar, they tell you how to build your own sensor. As for it working with 2 different screens, it should. Heres a test. Have someone point to the sensor bar on top of the tv, then have someone point to a pair of candles on the other side of the room opposite the tv. Your cursor should still come up on the screen.
