Default Headunit bypass

Can anyone help me find somewhat of a hu bypass (not real sure of the techincal name). Basically I want the sound of a premium hu without changing my original 07 one. Isn't there some box I can buy and wire through the hu to my speakers. For some reason I think JBL makes one but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Thanks

You can get a processor to integrate amplifiers to the stock HU. Fosgate makes 2 different ones, the 3SIXTY.1 and .2. Alpine has one, JL has one, Memphis has one.

jailbird nailed it. you could use some aftermarket eqs that take in speaker level, i think eclipse makes one, then youd have to find one that either has speaker level out or have to amp the stock speakers which will cost extra (which isnt bad if you plan to upgrade them anyway).but honestly overall with the price youd end up paying and all, you are almost better off buying an aftermarket deck that will do the same thing. i know the 360.2 alone is like 600, which can get you a pretty high end pioneer deck if not premier that will give you very very good sound. sure the eq is not as flexible as the 360.2 but its enough to make your stock speakers sound really good, not to mention with the aftermarket deck you do gain alot more flexibility overall vs the stock deck. thats just my opinion though.

thanks trung for catching that. dont worry just drill the nipples on the bracket with a 3/16" drill bit and you should be fine.
