okay so i just got my alpine cda-9847 installed. the problem is whenever i turn on my HIDs, my cd player will say "Interrupt" and pause until my lights are off. however i need my lights at night time, and want to bump my music too. anyone with the same problem, or experience the samething?

 

Sounds like someone hooked up the mute wire incorrectly. take it back to the shop and have them cap off the pink wire.

I just had a second, less likely but entirely possible thought. It sounds like they hooked up the dimmer off the harness to the mute wire. cap pink for sure, and orange as a backup if pink doesn't solve it.

yeah my buddy hooked it up. ill tell him that....still gotta do my rockford fosgate components.
