I just got into an accident but my passenger airbag exploded...
so the dash cover ripped off...
do you know any place wehere i can get that?

umm... how about your insurance company?

if the airbag went off, that means the sensor was damaged or received such a shock that it deployed the airbag, and that would mean enough damage that the dash should be the least of your concerns. Also, from what I know there is a passenger sensor to tell the car NOT to deploy it if noone is sitting in the passenger seat during an impact.

 

Definitely, you need to go through insurance. And you in the least need a good body shop to look at it.

 

i know i fixed everything else... but i can;t find the that dash cover nowhere... partznet i tried but don;t know the name of that part in the website

 

are you fixing the damage from an airbag-involved accident yourself?

 

oh man just let insurance fix everything. airbags are not cheap at all.

 

whoa. you mean to tell me you are reinstalling a passenger side airbag to replace a depoyed passenger airbag yourself and you don't have the resources to find the replacement dash? i'd suggest you go to the same place that provided you with the replacement passenger airbag.

jmo, but i do not want to be a passenger in this car after you sell it, and i anticipate litigation in your future.
but i might be reading into this.

 

yeah.. I would expect someone to be seriously injured with this. If the sensors were set off, the car needs to be checked out thoroughly.
