Help. Cig lighter, illumination and shifter lights aren't getting power.
I purchased my TC a couple weeks ago from a body shop. It had some repaired body damage. If any of you guys have a girlfriend who wrecked her black TC, I feel sorry you having to live with the filthiest human being on earth. How you can get pepsi in every crevice of the car baffles me. Also sticking your blunt guts down the e brake hole and letting your spilled pepsi cake them and the skittles to the car leaves me just as confused.
I also want to thank the person who had the write up about how to fix your HVAC lights going out. 30 minutes and a solder gun fixed 1 of my two problems.
Anyways, like the title of the posts says I have no cig power or shifter lights. I know the illumination is tapped into the cig lighter power, but not 100% sure on the shifter illumination. The fuse is good in the box. My meter is also telling me I have 12 volts at the fuse box. But I am getting nothing on the cig lighter wire. At this point I'm stumped and I feel like my next move is to start taking the dash apart to find the problem. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

there's a small fuse panel under the steering wheel. locate the mini fuse for the cig lighter which im sure is popped... you said you only checked the fuse found in the fuse box in the engine bay, correct?
check that mini fuse which im sure should fix your problem..
you have to really look for it cause its tucked up under the dashboard... pretty uncomfortable spot to be in but that fuse should be blown..
