hey guys, i have an UPDATE:

i went to the dealer today and had the cig lighter checked out. Apparently along with the other two fuse boxes (under dash and under hood), there is an inline glass fuse near the cig lighter. I must have missed this due to the tons of electrical tape used to wrap it, lol. But i want to thank you guys for all your help...

lol. Great. I had the same problem and I thought I had a broken wire somewhere in the dash because I couldn't find a burnt fuse. I rewired a positive from an alternative source. =/

Yeah true. Funny thing I just realized. There is this hot 20y/o chick at my work named Veronica. We nicknamed her V-Dub. lol
