I remember a post a long time ago that said that it might work for scratches on the dash. I have a small chip in my dash and I figured I might color it in, but it will still have the indent. Maybe I can get some kind of molding to fill it in then color it.. dunno though.

 

Try a crayon thats close to the color of that section. It will fill the gap as well as color it. It's a trick they use on wood funiture to hide gouges. Maybe it will suffice till you get a new one or a cf kit to cover it up.

Also, there has been a seller on e-bay selling all sorts of individual parts for the scions. I know I've seen a few dash pieces in the last couple of weeks. I was gonna buy just to have spare. Maybe you'll find one cheep.

 

the center console piece is not $300, its actually cheaper than that. however, if you get it with the heater controls in it then it is a little over $300. i think i priced just the console without the heater controls for like $90, but its been a couple months so i could be wrong on the price.
