I tried searching on how to make my own box but I also didnt find anything.. The best way to go is ask Mandos, or anyone else that you see doing giant projects because usually they know most answers to our questions.
You'll want to take out the floor and all the junk in the floor, build an enclosure (or 2) that is to the specs of your subwoofers, make a beauty board from the template of the floor piece.. carpet the top of it, seal it to the bottom of the enclosure, and drop in your subs and amp...
check this thread for ideas..

and along with what SCI_TC_GUY said, build them to spec with your subs, to make them sound the way they were supposed to. if you want some blueprints and other stuff (to tune it to a certain fq, compare it to a diffrent box, etc) a program like BOXPRO (really older version) or the newer one work great

the only part of making a false floor that is hard is making the box because pending if ur going for SQ or SPL...(sound quality or the bassy feeling) that decides how big ur box is going to be...but all you have to do is measure the area in the trunk and cut the wood to fit the area or entire trunk..make sure there is enough mounting depth for the sub and if u want cut into the thing cardboard like wood thats under the mat to be able to have the subs visible. thats very brief though
what happens if u get a flat though

exactly just lik ethe first thread and the third thread...i like how that is nice and clean..so i pretty much need..fiberglass padding,1/2" mdf, wood colking, and whatever carpetingor suede i want...
