Help Me Decide! Seats/Etc!
sooo dont mean to get into personal business or anything but....hwo much did it come out to? how much of a difference did being sponsored do? and now wat do u have to do place there stickers on ur car? what seats did u get? 21 questions? u think so? yeah, maybe? ok im done LOL
Money: it's a decent discount. Nothing crazy but not bad. I just have two Corbeau stickers I need to put on the car - they're sending me silver ones and I'm putting them on the rear quarter windows. Nothing huge or anything - not bad.
Seats... well... they're ordered and you'll see when they get here.

They have zero racing credibility and cost even more than Recaro's. They're just like Bride seats. Crap seats with a high price tag, but since it's 'JDM bling,' it gets big points at car shows. Ya know, the places where coilovers will yield less points if they're corner balanced.

Say what, that they're crap or the thing about the coilovers?
If it's the crap part, then go watch the crash test for the Bride seats again. I know you already saw it because you responded with something about Recaros being better, which I agree with. Have I seen a video of Status seats breaking? No. However, the fact that I have never seen them used in any legitimate professional racecar, I have reasons to suspect that professional drivers don't have interest in them.
If it's the coilovers thing, form > function wins shows. A car that's corner balanced won't be 'flush' or have 4 tires that rub all over the place.

and as for coil overs being a waste if they arent corner balanced is 100% personal preference. i personally have had 3 sets of coil overs (i like to switch things up every now and then) but i have stopped with my Zeals. i havent had any of them corner balanced and i dont see a problem with that, nor do i think its a waste. oh and i dont have 4 wheels that rub, i dont have flush wheels and my cars not slammed lol BUT if i want any of that i can have it with a couple hours worth of work.
anywho i want to see some reviews of status seats before i go out and call them crap, i'll agree that APC seats are crap and those knock off seats are crap because of the construction, but seen as how neither you or i have any proof to say whether or not status seats are crap or not we should do a little more digging.
also a lot of race car drivers use recaro seats and other reputable seats because they are backed up and Recaro probably sponsors racing more then status. also are the videos that we saw for Recaro and Bride legit? are they bias at all?
anyway i love my Recaros, you love your Corbeaus and ack will too

I'm not going to get into a debate with you Dave, you know my stance, I know yours...so it's pretty much pointless lol.
I don't really 'love' my Corbeaus, mostly because I would LOVE to have some smexi Recaros or Sparcos, but I do really enjoy them and am willingly open to admit that they're crap compared to Recaro lol.
