UPDATE: I took out every fuse in the footwell and none were blown. When i was hardwiring my LCD into the cigarette adapter, i accidentally let the positive and negative wires connect. They sparked and now i have to power coming out of either cigarette plug. I assumed it was a fuse, but like i said, i checked all the fuses by the pedals and none of them were blown.

Any other possibilities?

there is one more fuse..... its a glass fuse that you can find on the wires that connect to the cig lighter. its probably wrapped with tons of electical tape, but i know its there for sure...

i ran into the same problem you did with the incorrect wiring and i blew a fuse, but none of the fuses were blown under the dash.. so i took it into the dealer and they fixed it for me under warranty... just follow the wire from the plug to the wires around the shift **** and see if you can find it.... if not, you might have to start ripping off the electrical tape from the wires.

good luck!

I searched for about 30 min ripping apart the center console and I couldn't find the inline fuse you were talking about. But after I inspected all the fuses for a third time, I found a blown fuse and upon changing the fuse, everything fired right up. Thanks for the help anyways. jk

It's a 16 fuse on the side closer to the driver not to the firewall afik. Just get a matching fuse and try replacing it, sometimes they don't look blown, but the same thing happened to me and it was that fuse.
