Lmao take your remote wire from the amp and get a test light and now turn the ignition on and and see if there is voltage coming through. If not there are a few ways to fix it. one tap into the non constant wire where it plugs into your dec ( so when you turn the igniton on its the wire that has voltage and when car is off the wire has no voltage) now all you do from there is just plug that into the amp and when its on the amp should power on and if the amp is bad it wont power up.

your remote wire is bad from the deck. you can try what he said to do up there with the acc ignition wire but only thing about that is that your amp will always be on when the car is on.

what i would try to do is use a 4 pin relay to essentially boost the remote wire.

connect the acc ignition wire on pin 30. remote wire will connect to pin 86. ground to pin 85. and pin 87 will go to the remote spot on the amp.

that way you will be able to turn off the amp like you normally would when the deck is turned off but you will be getting power from the ignition. i just hope your remote wire has enough voltage to at least trigger the relay.

well i know its not a bad amp because i ran a jumper lead from the positive cable to the remote terminal and it came on, removed it and it turned off. so its definitely a problem with the remote wire. why would the wire coming straight from the deck be bad? that seems hard to believe.

Check and make sure that you have the right wire hooked up, make sure it's not the power antenna wire, which is also blue....Just recheck your wires and make sure you have spliced into the correct one and that you have a good connection at the splice...Maybe take a pic of the back of the deck and what wire you tapped into, that way ppl can see exactly what's going on back there...

yeah so basically it turned out i'm just stupid and had it connected to the wrong wire behind the head unit. i must say i'm pretty impressed with this single 10" type r sub. hits hard and clean

Yeah, see, I told you...Sometimes it's just easier to double check things instead of doing all this extra non-sense...
