how can i avoid having too many gauges
okay, so i want to have some way of monitoring my car once it gets boosted with the supercharger, and the necessary gauges i want are going to be a/f, boost, and egt, or oil pressure.
but i don't want to put three or four gauges on top of my dash, maybe use garage1217 cf radio panal and cubby panal, but that kinda limits my choices down the road for audio head units, so i was curious if anybody has experience with items like the greddy intelligent infometer or the zeitronix LCD display.
the zeitronix uses a small LCD screen that can tell me boost, a/f and egt depending on which additional sensors i buy.
playinwithfire says the greddy intelligent informeter only tells you mph, and rpms, and nothing i won't already know.
so i'm curious what other people think and if they know of some other choices avaliable.

yeah there are alot of choices out there, thats for sure.
i have heard a couple people talking about the zeitronix that uses the one lcd screen that you can view many different things on, but like you said, there are more sensors to buy.
I have really heard anything about the greddy informeter.
the cubby hole ones would be the ones that i would like to try, nice and clean look, and yet serves you with vital info!

if your doing a supercharger.. is a egt really needed? i understand on turbo applications.. and oil psi shouldnt be needed neither.. what you really should get is Boost/Vacuum, Fuel PSI, and A/F wideband
I have Zeitronix... I love it. Its awesome having it in my cubby above the lighter. The hondas don't see me coming... Just make sure some idiot doesn't install it for you. The guy who put mine in decided it would be a good idea to weld in my EGT bung..... with the sensor still in it. So I read about 580 F max....
