How do I access the center console?
unscrew **** (might wanna put it into a gear that is further away than it is when in neutral or park). pop that panel off gently, remove cigarette lighter connection. make sure if you have a removeable face plate on your deck take it off, and the radio door is closed. the slowly pry the console off, slowly because there is a connector there that attachesto the HVAC. put all items in safe places where they wont scratch. and voila! do your business :D
and yes .. do this all carefully. lol

Got a question, the light for my center console (P, R, N, D, 3, 2) doesn't come on anymore, nor does my Cigarette lighter (more the light than the lighter). Is there a fuse for both of them?
i know there is a fuse for the cigarette lighter alone (cause i popped it soo many times..lol) and im sure there is one for the shifter light also. the cigarette lighter fuse is in the box under the steering wheel. as for the shifter light im not too sure. dont see how it would get popped, but it might be under there too.

the panel 7.5A fuse is what's for the A/T light... but then it controls all the illumination.. from your gauges, to the center console... not just that little light.
Rattle....hmm i got same problem...ive taped greased freakin everything still there! Only thing ive been able to do to stop it is....put a damn paper towel right above the door when its open to put pressure on it...looks ghetto but it makes me not wanna kill myself from the noise! :-P
theres a thread on there for the sqeak, iono how much it helps out the rattle. just put some type of cusion between the airvents and the top part of the stereo area, there a thread about it with pics and everything. but that really helped out when i had the rattle/sqeak.
