Does anyone have pictures of the e-brake boot? Do you suggest doing both mods or is the e-brake mod not that noticable?

Right, you could even use Bounty towels if you wanted. Absorbent!

ive heard that you dont wanna get rid of the part with D 3 2 1 on it because you can screw things up if you push to hard and so on

so has anybody put it on a auto without taking off the plate, and would you please make a diy...

You have to get rid of the piece of plastic that says D 3 2 1 on it, or else theboot will not fit properly.

Its a simple procedure. REALLY easy.
Put the car in neutral
Rip off the housing surrounding the shift boot [becareful not to rip the lighter wires]
Rip off the P R N D 3 2 1 plate
Tape/Glue the shiftboot to the bottom of the shifter housing, so that it goes through the top
Put the housing back on
and thats it
